Approach: Montessori

The Montessori system features a holistic approach that is designed to develop student’s minds, bodies, and emotions. Unlike traditional approaches, Montessori teaches students to successfully perform everyday activities in addition to schoolwork. This helps them develop sensorially and physically. Of course, traditional subjects like math, language, culture, and arts are integrated into the Montessori curriculum. All Montessori teachers are trained and certified specifically in this educational method.

Approach: Emergent Framework

Willow uses the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) model with the Curiosity Approach. This curriculum is based on the educational methods used in the UK and other Commonwealth countries. This system is backed by extensive government research and proven to work for children from a variety of backgrounds. The EYFS model is split into early learning goals in three prime areas and four specific areas, ensuring your child receives a well-rounded nursery education. The Curiosity approach ensures that your child develops their creativity as well as their critical thinking skills.
